Here is a query for you. I propose a profile for SMITHSONIAN MAGAZINE on Stan Jorstad, fine arts photographer, who will have an exhibit of his panoramic landscape photography at THE SMITHSONIAN this summer under the auspices of the National Park Service in celebration of its 75th anniversary.

The details of this exhibit and its sponsorship are to be finalized in Washington, D. C., the week of February 18-22 when Jan Jorstad, representing Stan Jorstad, will meet with representatives of THE SMITHSONIAN and the National Park Service.

After you see Stan Jorstad's work, you will know why we are so excited about this fine artist and are so eager to see a profile on him that might run concurrently with the exhibit this summer.

Please see attached my curriculum vitae and some recent clips. I am an established professional writer, currently in the process of preparing a short profile about Jorstad for our local regional magazine, FOX VALLEY LIVING. (700-1,000 words). However, I propose a profile for THE SMITHSONIAN that would be considerably longer and more definitive of his life and work. (2,000-3,000 words).
