December 1990 Dear Family and Friends, Happy Holidays to all. Randy keeps busy working at the sausage factory and meat market which are now consolidated. Once again, we are in the midst of the deer hunting season. This year we had to rent a refrigerated semi-trailer to store all of the Bambis until the processing could be completed. Randy also still plays saxophone with a local community jazz band. In his spare time he has fixed up the basement in our home. Now we have more room to relax and Joel has more room to play. Joel, 21 months old, is no longer a baby. He had a great summer walking to our city park and playing with his little friends. He loves to talk and learn new things. His constant activity exhausts us but his sweet nature makes it all worthwhile. Joel will have a sibling in mid-April. That should make our life even more hectic and interesting. It's not easy feeling tired and nauseous with an energetic little boy around. Joel even started to copy my "morning sickness" routine. I still play my harp weekly at Mill Race Inn, Geneva, as well as for weddings and parties throughout the Chicago area. Being a freelance musician has worked out well with motherhood. My biggest challenge is to find time to practice, since Joel thinks that he should play the harp, too. We are thankful for our continued good health and many other blessings. We hope that your holidays and all of 1991 are filled with joy. Love, Randy, Janelle, and Joel Ream
